| Online Bidding WARRI REFINING AND PETROCHEMICAL CONPANY LIMITED SUPPLY OF SULPHURIC ACID (98%) ON TERM CONTRACT BASIS ONLINE PRE-QUALIFICATION OF PROSPECTIVE CONTRACTORS INTRODUCTION The refining and petrochemicals directorate of Nigeria is made up of three (3) subsidiary companies, viz: 1. Kaduna refining and Petrochemicals Company limited (KRPC) is located at Kaduna in Kaduna state. It has a refining of 125,000bpsd and petrochemicals plant that can produce 30,000my/yr of Linear Alkyl Benzene (LAB), 1,500mt/yr of benzene and 13,000mt/yr of kero solvent. 2. Port Harcourt refining company limited (PHRC) is located in Rivers state. It comprises of two refineries, the Old Refinery (OPHR) of 60,000bpsd and New Refinery (NPHR) of 150,000bpsd. 3. Warri Refining and Petrochemicals company limited (WRPC) is located in warri in delta state and has a capacity if 110,000bpsd. It also has a petrochemical plant that can produce 18,000ton/yr of carbon black (CB) and 13,000ton/yr of polypropylene (PP) PURPOSE OF THE PROJECT The management of Refining and petrochemicals directorate of Nigeria wishes to employ the services of reputable organizations for the supply of sulphuric acid to its companies as follows: COMPANY ANNUAL CONSUMPTION 1. KRPC 760MT/YR 2. PHRC 500MT/YR 3. WRPC 600MT/YR SCOPE OF WORK This shall include, but not limited to the following: Supply of sulphuric acid of the following specification: 1. FORM LIQUID 2. COLOUR COLOURLESS 3. IRON CONTENT 100PPM MAX 4. ARSENIC CONTENT 0.5PPM MAX 5. DENSITY @ 98% 1.84g/cm3 PRE-QUALIFICATION Potential bidders will be pre-qualified upon submission of the following documents (failure to do so leads automatically to disqualification): 1. Full detail of company profile. 2. Certificate of incorporation. 3. Proof of company’s financial capabilities, including audited account for the last three (3) years, along with corresponding tax clearance certificate. 4. Organizational structure and available work force with CVs of key personnel. 5. Company’s CASHES and QA/QC policy. 6. Relevant and Verifiable cognate experience with other organizations, on similar contract in the past five (5) years. (please include evidence of similar contract executed, year, client, value and duration, client’s contact person and phone, etc) 7. Nigerian content: plan indicating utilization of Nigerian materials, goods, services and manpower, established presence in Nigeria including investment(s) and plan for training/transfer of technology to Nigeria.(The Nigerian content would be issued to qualified bidders). 8. Any additional information that would enhance the potentials of the company.
