| Team Leaders Job Title Team Leader Department Reporting to After Sales Manager Subordinates: Senior Technician, Technician, Service advisor, Helper, Painter, Denter Job purpose 1. Ensures full utilization of workshop avialable labour and resources to achieve planned operational targets 2. Supervises subordinates to produce quality work. 3. Assits the staff technically Key Results Areas 1. Allocates job cards and manages technicians to maximise the throughput by aligning jobs to skill sets within team 2. Ensures that the technicians carry out the jobs within the allocated time. 3. Ensures the most effective use of available time and equipment. 4. Ensures all pre-orders are approved and obtains customer approval for all additional work. 5. Recommends warranty jobs for the approval. 6. Ensures the workshop observes all warranty process conditions, and supervises the correct tagging and storage of warranty parts. 7. Ensures all required information on each job card for each job is proprly maintained. 8. Identifies and organizes staff training needs for improving technical knowledge and job performance. 9. Gives practical assistance, on-the-job training and technical advice to subordinates. 10. Informs the concerned Service Advisor and Workshop Manager if necessary on any unclear working instructions or costly extensions on the repair. Qualification & Experience 1. Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical / Automotive or related field 2. 5-8 years relevant experience in a fully equipped Bus & Commercial Vehicle workshop Skills 1. Customer service oriented 2. Efficient communicator. 3. Stress Management aptitude & problem solver 4. Firm and organized, with leadership skills | |
