| SENIOR ENGINEER - MEP COMPANY DESCRIPTION: Provide procurement services for the group. JOB DESCRIPTION: - Responsible for the delivery of procurement related services to Group's MEP Division. - Implementation of buying strategies covering both routine and high value transactions. - Identification and capture of procurement savings opportunites in close interaction with MEP Project team. DETAILED DESCRIPTION: - Achieving cost reductions and efficiency improvement. - Assume responsibility for finalizing technical submittals, orders and contracts. - Monitor delivery deadlines. - Develop and maintain a close working relationship with suppliers and subcontractors. JOB REQUIREMENTS: - 6 - 8 years experience of which at least 2 years are in Procurement department within a large MEP / construction company in UAE. ADDITIONAL DETAILS: - Ability to meet deadlines in a demanding environment. - Good communication and contract drafting skills. | |
